On June 6, during a live broadcast with fellow member Lara, Megan said, “I’m coming out. I’m bisexual.” Lara expressed her joy and support, and fans responded with messages of encouragement.

This marks the second official LGBTQ+ coming out within the group, following Indian-American member Lara’s previous announcement, making KATSEYE a rare K-pop group with two openly queer members.

Back in March, Lara came out via a fan communication platform, stating, “I’m half fruitcake. This is a part of me, and I’m not ashamed—I’m proud of it.” She added “During the survival audition program, I was scared people wouldn’t accept me. But now, I’m confident” , thanking fans for their support.
